Amador was established in 1852 as a Stagecoach Line carrying passengers from the Paddlewheelers in Sacramento to the communities in the "Gold
Country" of the Northern California foothills. From those early beginnings Amador has grown to be one of the largest and most stable operators in
Northern California. Headquartered in Sacramento, with offices in Reno and South Lake Tahoe, Amador has been under the same ownership for the last 55 years.
